World Odisha Society Hosts Mahamrutyunjay Hymn Recital for Ailing Tanmay Panda
Bhubaneswar/New Delhi, Dt: 18.01.: World Odisha Society (WOS) hosted recital of Mahamrutyunjay Hymns for the recovery of ailing Dr Tanmay Panda in virtual platform. Presided over by WOS’s Chairman Kishore Dwibedi the recital was attended by members and well wishers of World Odisha Society from across the Globe. The Additional Editor of the Publication Department of WOS, Founder of Vidya Publishing Inc. in Toronto and Professor of Business and Social Entrepreneur in a Canada University, Dr Tanmay Panda recently fell ill due to brain ailment. He had undergone brain surgery in a Hospital in Toronto. Now Dr Panda is lying unconscious in the ICU of the Hospital and is in a critical condition as per the family sources.
The Founder of WOS Guruma Dr Arundhati Debi took the lead in reciting the Mahamrutyunjay Hymn for 108 times. The students of Sovaniya Sikhyashram at Cuttack and the participants joined the recital with her. Dr. Panda’s close friend, Founder of Prabhu Publications and General Secretary of Cuisine Department of WOS Prashant Bhuyan from Toronto and Educationist Dr. Sarojini Pani from Bhubaneswar recounted their fond interactions with Dr Panda in recent past. The participants Prayed almighty for the speedy recovery of Dr Panda. Vice – President of the Women’s Wing of WOS Reeta Patra presented vote of thanks.
Smt Banojini Nayak conducted the proceedings of the recital from Bhubaneswar. Distinguished dignitaries joined the online meeting include Sudhashree Dash from Dubai, Sanjay Dalai from U.S.A, Dr Jayashree Nanda from London, Subas Sahoo from Bahrain, Barada Prasanna Das, Subrat Kumar Rath, Bandita Ray, Sanatan Mahakud, Renubala Mishra, Dr Kiran Kumar Panigrahy, Ayeesha Swain, Tapas Panda, Madhusmita Acharya and Ganesh Parida.
